We travel to many places for the hot springs, and this is one of the best, anywhere. Service is great, pools are fresh and relaxing, and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. I wish we had stayed there longer. For a better view of the volcano, I walked out of the resort and along a grassy shoulder for a few hundred feet. The view is hit or miss with the clouds and best in the morning. The sun came out at the right moment for me. It’s stunning to see in person, photos don’t do it justice.

The stay at the Royal Corin was nothing less than magical. I wasn't sure what to think when they made a production of our arrival with hand towels and fresh juice! I suppose I wasn't prepared to be spoiled! It was a lovely experience. The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfy. The bathroom was inspirational- I may need a waterfall shower now! I was so pleased by the view of the volcano and had no problem getting up early to see its glory. Getting to breakfast was also a top priority! It was so fun having a full fresh breakfast offering local flavors. The surprise of a different fresh squeezed juice each day was by far my favorite

Let me just start with how AMAZING the service is at this hotel. No where in the world have I had people pay this attention to our stay. David and Christopher were so helpful from the get-go and were able to make some dinner recommendations and our stay that much better. The room was amazing and it looks like all of them on the 3rd-5th floors have great volcano views. Wake up early to see it without the clouds as most afternoons are not clear during the summer. My girlfriend also used the Spa and said it was great. I saw the facilities and they were clean and well updated. They have multiple saunas and hot spring baths as well as some specialty equipment. Outside of the spa is the main pools which are well maintained, a good temperature and surrounded by public hot tubs. The only negative was the weekend we were there also happened to be a group of girls birthday party and they were rowdy, smoking outside by the pool, playing their own music very loudly and dancing in very inappropriate bathing suits (and I'm talking multiple slips, I'm not being overcritical)

For our group of 10, we had a total of four rooms. We initially were very pleased with the hotel and were already making plans to return. Unfortunately, within less than a day at the resort, we noted that numerous personal items had been stolen from our luggage in two of the rooms, presumably while we were at dinner. Management admitted there had been similar issues multiple times in the past, but did not offer to make any concessions whatsoever in our case. We have traveled pretty extensively, and have never had this happen before. We lost hours dealing with management and having to travel to La Fortuna to file a police report. This hotel has potential and some great staff members, but ultimately, if you do not feel safe/secure at a property it is an absolute dealbreaker. I do not recommend.

Our stay at the Royal Corin was exceptional! The staff is warm, accommodating, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Views were stunning and we were able to see the volcano from our room even though we came during the rainy season. Rooms were impeccably clean. Breakfast buffet was on par with a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton. The chicken wraps are a must try for lunch by the pool and the seafood risotto and gazpacho at Emperador restaurant were delicious! Thank you so much Royal Corin for the incredible experience! Would highly suggest for a couples vacation.
