We loved our experience at The Culpeper. We booked a table at the restaurant for dinner and we were seated at a nice table at the window. The food was delicious and the service was amazing! The staff is very friendly and thoughtful, I even got a free brownie for my birthday ♡ We will come again for sure!

Não fiquei impressionado. Tive um jantar de Natal do escritório aqui. A opção vegetariana deveria ter cogumelos, não tinha, era muito branda e geralmente não era apreciada pelos colegas vegetarianos. O frango parecia ótimo, mas estava incrivelmente seco, isso não teria sido tão ruim, mas eles têm uma pequena panela de molho (o que eu esperaria para 1 pessoa) para toda a mesa de 6 e disseram que não poderíamos comer mais. Isso tornava o frango muito difícil de comer.A única graça salvadora foi o crumble que tivemos foi incrível, (mais uma vez, não o suficiente creme) e o vinho foi adorável.
Na verdade, gostaria de dar 3,5 estrelas.Em geral, a localização é linda. O menu parece bom e só tenho coisas positivas a dizer sobre as bebidas.O que decepcionou o lugar foi o serviço lento e desatento. Parte da comida, como a que imaginei, era fantástica; aqui temos o risoto e a tarte de chocolate branco com limão. Essas foram as duas melhores opções na minha opinião.Batatas fritas não tinham sal. Outros pratos principais pareciam menos impressionantes ou cuidados, em comparação com o risoto.Eu pedi e cancelei a torta depois de ver que era um guisado com cobertura de massa e uma mistura estranha para 'torta do dia' (tomate, porco e outros pedaços).De qualquer forma, tivemos um bom almoço e eu não estou tentando anunciar o lugar apenas para dar bons conselhos às pessoas que estão considerando as opções. Além disso, na minha opinião, um foco um pouco mais no atendimento pelo pessoal e talvez outro cozinheiro para apoiar a cozinha, permitindo mais foco em alguns pratos, iria trazer este lugar à tona!No geral, tivemos um bom almoço.

I wasn't impressed. Had an office Christmas dinner here. The vegetarian option was supposed to have mushrooms in it, didn't, was very bland and generally not liked by vegetarian colleagues. The chicken looked great but was incredibly dry, this wouldn't have been so bad but they have a tiny pot of gravy (what I would expect for 1 person) for the whole table of 6 and said we couldn't have anymore. This made the chicken very hard to eat. The only saving grace was the crumble we had was amazing, (again not enough custard) and the wine was lovely.
I actually would like to give 3.5 stars. Overall the location is beautiful. The menu looks good and I only have positive things to say about the drinks. What let the place down was the slow and inattentive service. Some of the food, like what I've pictured was fantastic; here we have the risotto and white chocolate lemon tart. These were the best two options in my opinion. Chips had no salt. Other mains looked less impressive or cared for, compared to the risotto. I ordered then cancelled the pie after seeing it was a stew with pastry top and an odd mixture for 'pie of the day' (tomato, pork and other bits). Anyway we had a nice lunch and I'm not trying to slate the place just to give good advice to people considering options. Also, in my opinion a bit more focus on service by the staff and perhaps another cook to support the kitchen, allowing more focus on some dishes would bring this place right up! Overall we had a nice lunch.
Pode ficar agitado aqui, mas não se preocupe, há sempre uma grande multidão do lado de fora curtindo o clima local. Um bar muito descontraído com uma equipe excepcional que pode lidar com um bar movimentado. A comida é fantástica e um ótimo lugar para almoçar. Um favorito dos trabalhadores locais que vão relaxar depois do trabalho e deixar o estresse dissipar. Este é um daqueles bares de sensação suaves e modernos, mas também tem alma. Se você estiver na área, experimente e tenho certeza de que voltará para mais com os amigos. Muito local para muita vida noturna e ao virar da esquina de Shoreditch, Brick Lane com muitos atalhos e ligações de transportes públicos.
Pub autêntico de moradores locais com ótimos bartenders (muitos talentos ecléticos de NY / em outros lugares). Fácil de lidar, boa comida, um telhado até um hotel. Tudo certo sobre este lugar.
fomos para o assado de domingo como um grupo. o wellington vegetariano estava absolutamente delicioso! o ombro de porco um pouco seco. pulamos as entradas e foi uma boa pedida para que pudéssemos desfrutar da sobremesa como a baklava de chocolate (fabuloso!). boas bebidas, boas vibrações, serviço simpático peculiar
Jantei ontem à noite no telhado. Muito bonito e romântico, com toda a jardinagem da cobertura ao redor da área de estar. Estava um pouco frio, mas eles tinham 2 fogos acesos, o que era muito bom. O serviço foi bom, a equipe foi simpática e prestativa. A comida poderia ser melhor. Tinha burrata (na foto), mas a combinação de sabores não era do meu gosto. O risoto de cogumelos está ligeiramente cozido demais. A baklava de chocolate era entretanto um sonho!
Authentic locals pub with great bartenders (many eclectic talents from NY/elsewhere). Easy going, great food, rooftop even a hotel. Everything right on about this place.
It can get busy here but not to worry there is always a large crowd outside enjoying the local vibe. A very relaxed bar with exceptional staff who can handle a busy bar. The food is amazing and great place to go for lunch. A favorite of the local workers who will wind down after work and let the stress melt away. This is one of those swish, trendy feeling bars but has a soul too. If your in the area give it a shot and I'm sure you'll be back for more with friends. Very local to a lot of night life and just around the corner from Shoreditch, Brick Lane with lots of short cuts and public transport links.
we went for Sunday roast as a group. the vegetarian wellington was absolutely delicious! the pork shoulder a bit dry though. we skipped starters and that was a good call so we could enjoy their chocolate baklava dessert (fab!). good drinks, good vibes, quirky friendly service
Had dinner at the rooftop last night. Very cute and romantic, with all the rooftop gardening around the seating area. It was a little chilly but they had 2 fires going, which was very nice. The service was good, staff was friendly and helpful. The food could be better. Had burrata (pictured) but flavour combination was not to my taste. Mushroom risotto is slightly overcooked. Chocolate baklava was dreamy though!
Já estive no The Culpeper duas vezes. Uma vez com apenas um amigo como visitante e a segunda em um grande grupo de 7. O espaço do restaurante é adorável e a comida é selecionada com base na sazonalidade. Amei o risoto de cogumelos com beurre noisette e avelãs! O peixe do dia com mexilhões também foi incrível. Não há queixas sobre qualquer comida e serviço. Eu retornarei!
I've been to The Culpeper twice. Once with just a friend as a walk-in and the second in a large group of 7. The restaurant space is lovely and the food is curated based on seasonality. Loved the mushroom risotto with beurre noisette and hazelnuts! The fish of the day with mussels was also amazing. No complaints on any of the food and service. I will be back!

Florida terraza en altura con vistas, por ejemplo, a las impresionantes nuevas torres de Liverpool Street. También dispone de 3 habitaciones en la segunda planta (!) disponibles on line.
Un pub grande y bastante bonito situado en la calle principal de Shoreditch, muy cerca de muchos restaurantes de por la zona. Tiene comida típica de pub, así que no esperéis grandes cosas ahí, y cuenta con mesas pequeñas para parejas o grupos pequeños, pero también alguna mesa de madera ideal para grupos grandes, y muchas cervezas para escoger. Además es totalmente accesible y tiene un baño en la planta baja que es también accesible.
