Pagamos por um serviço que deixa um pouco à quem. Pagamos para ter acesso ao spa e a sauna e banho turco não estavam a funcionar, só havia 2 marquesas, tivemos que esperar para o casal ir embora. A piscina não tinha iluminação para ver os degraus que separavam do jacuzzi e do resto. Tivemos azar(só pode) de ficar no quadro das traseiras que havia barulho vindo da cozinha até as 2h da manhã. Não aconselho a refeição (jantar e/ou almoço) 25€por pessoa. De resto a malta é muito prestável e o hotel é bonito por fora e decoração. Bastou a experiência para não voltar
We pay for a service that leaves a little to whom. We paid to have access to the spa and the sauna and Turkish bath were not working, there were only 2 tables, we had to wait for the couple to leave. The pool had no lighting to see the steps that separated the jacuzzi and the rest. We were unlucky (you can only) to stay in the back frame where there was noise coming from the kitchen until 2 am. I do not recommend the meal (dinner and/or lunch) €25 per person. Otherwise the people are very helpful and the hotel is beautiful from the outside and decoration. The experience was enough not to come back

Fiquei no piso -0, a sala do pequeno almoço fica no piso 0 a partir das 6 da manhã não se consegue dormir, só se ouvia arrastar de cadeiras. Pequeno Almoço muito bom. Staff muito simpático.

Só utilizei o restaurante, foi uma excursão: a melancias estava azeda, casa de banho banho masculina não tinha luz.

Funcionários simpáticos O hotel devia ser modernizado e o chão substituído. Tem uma piscina excelente, pena é não ser de água termal. Pequeno almoço razoável, não excelente

Localizado bem próximo das termas do Carvalhal. Espaço acolhedor, bem decorado e sempre limpo. Quartos espaçosos, com secretária para trabalhar, cofre, mini frigorífico, ar condicionado e TV por cabo. Divisões têm pouca insonorização. Ouve-se muito de uns quartos para os outros. Pequeno almoço com muita variedade e produtos de qualidade. Staff prestável e simpáticos (característico das pessoas de Castro Daire) Muito estacionamento nas proximidade O único ponto negativo é os preços praticados no Spa. Essa deve ser a razão de poucas pessoas o usarem. Recomendo
I will start with the positive side of this "4-star Palace". Clean and spacious rooms. The rest is ABSOLUTELY not worthy of a 4-star Palace!!! It only bears the name: Palace!!! As soon as you walk through the front door, you realize that this is not a 4-star hotel. Unwelcoming entrance hall, VERY dark, very old furniture, non-existent staff (throughout the establishment ) The decoration is sad, very old and ugly. Very ugly tiled floor. The swimming pool in the hotel will cost you the sum of 15 euros for 45 minutes!!!! Never seen this in a hotel!!!! The breakfast is once again not up to the standards of a 4-star Palace!! The room is unfriendly, no reception at our entrance, we did not know where to sit .. tables empty of cutlery ... just a simple tablecloth. In short, the region is very beautiful but I would not return to "this Palace" which just deserves 2 stars!!!! The manager has work to make his establishment pleasant. Sorry but we were quite disappointed.
Located very close to the thermal baths of Carvalhal. Cozy space, well decorated and always clean. Spacious rooms with work desk, safe, mini fridge, air conditioning and cable TV. Divisions have poor soundproofing. You can hear a lot from one room to another. Breakfast with a lot of variety and quality products. Helpful and friendly staff (characteristic of the people of Castro Daire) Plenty of parking nearby The only negative point is the prices charged at the Spa. That must be the reason few people use it. I recommend
La verdad que tranquilito si quieres descansar.Pero de las 4 estrellas que tiene...... sobra alguna.
El mayor desastre que puedes encontrar, personal desentrenado que no sabe que hacer, impotencia total, NO RECOMENDABLE.

Un buen lugar, muy limpio y silencio, ideal para descansar despues de un día completo de ruta en moto.
El spa un diez aunque le faltan más tumbonas o colgadores, el comedor un siete porque podrían poner más comida para elegir, la habitación un cinco porque tiene grietas y le faltan muebles pero de amplitud perfecta

Muy buen hotel para visitar lugares como Lamego o el Alto Douro... Recomendable también el crucero en barco.
De pena, cuando llegue el 27 de enero, la habitacion heladora. Me tuvieron que dejar un pequeño calefactor electrico pata pasar la noche, el agua caliente para la ducha no existia, la espera entre plato y plato en la comida un cuarto de hora. En recepcion al igual que en la cafeteria nunca habia nsdie, tenias que ir a buscar al personal por el hotel. Un desastre.
