La habitación que elegí muy cómoda, con microondas y cafetera. La atención podría ser mejor, son un poco antipáticos. For the most part the room was awesome.Electric blackout curtains on both windows in a corner king suite.Sofa was comfy to sit on and to lay on and as a bed.I have for and leg pain and the tiles on the shower floor are made to look like a woven floor made out of marble tile.Looked great but was not smooth flat on my feet so it hurt to shower.Also the toilet paper was mounted on the same wall the toilet was which made it a bit awkward to reach back and get toilet paper.Other than that minor issues it was fantastic. We booked a corner one bedroom suite. Loved the room. Spacious, comfortable and upscale furnishings. Would definitely stay here again based just off room. My only complaint was the check in process. You have to check in at the Doubletree and there is no special line or recognition for Hilton Diamond members. Hilton Grand Vacations shares the same building with Double Tree, but it occupies all the upper floors. There is no daily housekeeping, although you can always ask for anything you need. The room looks new and is quite spacious, clean, and comfy.I like the view from the top floor. (Pull out bed) The location is excellent for walking any where from the magnificent mile to Navy Pier. Hotel staff Were very pleasant and helpful! The outdoor pool was warm and great for the kids. That was one of the main reasons for choosing this place with outdoor pool for our summer stay and the location. (we wish they would enforce the no glass on the pool as there was a piece of glass my husband stepped on inside the pool and a patron walking around with a glass of wine)This is our new place to stay when visiting Chicago! We had an excellent stay at this facility!Everything was immaculately cleaned and fresh smelling in our room.We enjoyed the view to the north, especially the Hancock Tower and small glimpses of Lake Michigan.The pool was well tended and a nice retreat after a couple of very hot days of sightseeing.All of the staff members were very friendly, efficient, and helpful.They shared information regarding transportation options, restaurant options, and arranged for the handling of baggage before check-in and after check-out.The only issue were had was with the number of towels in the bathroom, and that was quickly taken care of.The location is a little more suited to activities north of the river, but the various transportation options can quickly get you to attractions in the Museum Campus, Financial District, or other parts of the city.There are several very delightful restaurants in the area that offer a wide range of cuisine.We would definitely stay here again. Beware of bait and switch pricing! Embassy Suites reservations said they could get us a room at $283 for one night. When we got to the hotel a couple hours later, the new price was $489! They wouldn't honor the quoted price so we had to find another hotel.
