In previous years I have always chosen the Weatherstation Inn for my Key West visits. The staff was always exceptionally helpful and the rooms beautiful, clean and quiet. The location within the Truman Annex is absolutely perfect and although this inn is within easy walking distance to all the action it is quiet and lovely when you simply need a break. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have mentioned, this place has clearly gone downhill. Last month I contacted the inn via email (because it can often be difficult to reach anyone via phone) to inquire of an upcoming weekend - stating how I had loved staying there previous times and how much we would love to visit again. The staff members I used to work with were so wonderful and responsive. This time? Zero response. Absolutely nothing. I can only guess at this point that all those wonderful people I once communicated with are no longer there and perhaps there has been a staff turnover with individuals who no longer value customer loyalty - not even enough to merit a response. As locals only hours away, Key West is a place we enjoy visiting and are sad to say we will now have to find other accommodations since we cannot even merit a response from the current staff.

Mary and Don were awesome hosts. They were great over the phone and when we got there. Went to key west for my birthday. Room was clean, breakfast was great(its grab and go from a French bakery). They took care of everything from resverations to getting a shuttle to get us a scooter. We will most definitely be back. Thank you for helping us have an enjoyable weekend in the keys.

Our stay at the Weatherstation Inn was incredible. Mary and Don were super friendly and quick to address any concerns or questions we had. The location is perfect. Quick walk to Duval Street and Mallory Square but also in a quiet gated community when we were ready to get away from it all.
