Cute boutique type hotel with a European feel. Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Four Stars because the room was very small. Not much storage space in the bathroom, one of the drawers for clothing is taken up by a safe and no closet. Room was cozy and all of the finishes were modern high end. Overall very happy with the stay and we had a wonderful mommy daughter trip. I would certainly stay here again in the future! Bonito hotel tipo boutique com um toque europeu. A equipe da recepção foi muito simpática e acolhedora. Quatro estrelas porque o quarto era muito pequeno. Não há muito espaço de armazenamento no banheiro, uma das gavetas para roupas é ocupada por um cofre e nenhum armário. O quarto era aconchegante e todos os acabamentos eram modernos e sofisticados. No geral, muito feliz com a estadia e tivemos uma viagem maravilhosa de mamãe e filha. Eu certamente ficaria aqui novamente no futuro!

Tengo bastante experiencia en hoteles en la ciudad de Nueva York, ya que vamos cada mes de noviembre por acción de gracias de vacaciones, y ésta ha sido nuestra novena visita. EI Draper es uno de los mejores hoteles en el que nos hemos hospedado, pero como todo en la vida, tiene sus inconvenientes, pocos, pero los tiene. Cómo aspectos positivos, la ubicación, que es inmejorable, la quinta avenida es lo más céntrico y lo más conveniente en esta ciudad, y el Draper tiene esa ventaja. Las personas que trabajan en recepción son muy amables, siempre te atienden con una sonrisa, y hacen literalmente todo lo que está a su alcance para que la estancia sea lo mejor posible. Mención especial a Mohamed por su amabilidad, pero mis felicitaciones al resto de recepcionistas, que nos hicieron el enorme favor de quedarse con un paquete que debía recoger UPS para una devolución de Amazon, que dicho sea de paso (y para evitar que paséis por los mismos problemas que hemos tenido nosotros), había que estar esperando al transportista hasta que tuviera a bien pasar a recoger el paquete, y estando de vacaciones esto es una faena, cosa que como digo, tuvieron la enorme amabilidad de custodiar y entregar por nosotros, así que ni se os ocurra comprar nada en Amazon USA, y menos de valor, porque funciona fatal y sólo te complica la vida con las devoluciones. En cuanto a la limpieza de las habitaciones, hay que solicitar la misma antes de las once de la mañana. Aquí es donde el hotel recibe numerosas críticas, pero para nosotros es una ventaja, ya que por nuestras costumbres preferimos que nos dejen anuestro aire y no tener que estar con prisas, dejando la habitación para que la limpien cada día, entre otras cosas porque no es necesario limpiar todos los días, así que cuando te viene bien, lo pides y punto, menos molestias y la verdad es que limpian y dejan todo bastante bien. El hotel no ofrece desayuno incluido en el precio, cosa que en principio puede parecer otra desventaja, y cosa que volvemos a preferir, para evitar prisas y molestias por el hecho de que hay horarios y mesas repletas de gente, y no tienes dónde sentarte, mucho más cómodo en la habitación. Ahora bien, he de decir que por 158€ la noche que conseguí en el mes de febrero, el hotel es inmejorable, pero por los 400€ que lo he llegado a ver, o los doscientos y pico, o trescientos, la verdad es que buscaría otras opciones, porque no creo que lo valga, la habitación es pequeña, si bien en recepción nos cambiaron la habitación el primer día a una con algo de pasillo donde poder abrir las maletas, ya que en la primera que nos dieron, literalmente no podíamos pasar al baño con las maletas abiertas, y a pesar de que las habitaciones en Manhattan son pequeñas, esto ya es para pensarse pagar más de 180€ la noche, y mucho menos estando doce noches en Nueva York, aunque como digo, en recepción nos hicieron ese favor que ni siquiera pedimos, salió de ellos, así que hay que decirlo. La verdad es que hemos estado muy a gusto, pero hay un enorme inconveniente, y que no atribuimos al hotel, ya que cada vez que nos quejamos, hicieron todo lo que estuvo en su mano para poner remedio al problema, y no es otro que el incivismo y la mala educación de la gente. En Nueva York se ha legalizado el consumo de marihuana, cosa que no voy a entrar a valorar si está bien mal, la cuestión es que es legal, y la ciudad huele a marihuana literalmente, pero es que los huéspedes del hotel, aún habiendo depositado 150 dólares en concepto de prohibición expresa de fumar en las habitaciones, se lo saltan a la torera y les importa un comino si eso molesta no al resto de huéspedes, aún a riesgo de perder 150 dólares, es mucho más importoante drogarse y molestar al resto, y si no queremos drogarnos, nos aguantamos y nos drogarnos todos, el humo se filtra por el conducto de ventilación del hotel. Otra cosa mala, y un detalle muy feo es el hecho de cobrar un dólar por maleta el día que te vas, se aprovechan de esto. No volveremos.
Excelente hotel, todo nuevo y muy bien ubicado, las habitaciones tienen el tamaño que tienen la mayoría en Nueva York. Lo malo es que a pesar que en la página web dice que hablan tu idioma tendrían que aclarar que siempre y cuando no sea español, al hacer el check out se me quedaron con el depósito pero había pagado un precio tan ventajoso al reservar que no quise hacer reclamo alguno. Un par de conserjes no tenían la mejor onda pero eso es normal (creo).
I spent a lot of time reading reviews when trying to select the best hotel for our trip to NYC. When I was reading about The Draper, the two things that kept coming up as negatives were the wait times for elevators and the small size of the rooms. We didn’t experience any issues with the elevators, we stayed on the eighth floor, and never had to wait more than a minute or two for an elevator. Sometimes my son would press the elevator button and I would barely have enough time to close the hotel room door before the elevator was there! The rooms are small, but well appointed, and very clean. As a family of three, we were very comfortable with our double room, and had a great view of 37th. Suitcases slide under the beds, there are hangers and hooks for limited items of clothing/coats/bags, and a drawer built into each bed. I am someone who likes to hang up my clothes when traveling, and I managed very well. The service was top notch and the location is perfect!! I honestly don’t have any negatives to report. Excellent value. Would certainly stay again.
Once you get over the small size of the room this hotel is very clean; the staff is considerate and courteous; the bed was extremely comfortable; the location was optimal and we felt safe staying here. I could certainly recommend. We stayed in the king bed room. I wonder if the double beds would have been a bigger space. Their wifi connectivity was reliable and good. They held our bags and even found some lost merchandise I accidentally left behind. Thank you Draper staff! We look forward to our next stay. The best stay ever!! I love this hotel and will continue coming back!! The rooms are super clean and the service is impeccable. If you need anything, you can text them and they will bring it to you. We needed some extra towels and they brought it in under 5 minutes! I’ve stayed at many hotels and this one is by far my favorite. The entire staff and front desk is very kind. There are many restaurants nearby and you are close to everything. We had a balcony room and the views were amazing. Breathtaking! I didn’t want to leave the hotel! Amazing. Five stars! I stayed here on a last minute solo trip. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were nice and the water pressure was fantastic. The room I selected was small and would've been cramped had someone been staying with me. But I've never stayed in a large NYC hotel room so it was expected. Note that there are drawers under the bed! I felt very safe and it was in a good location. The nearest subway is a 5-7 minute walk.
Absolutely loved The Draper! Rooms are well appointed, updated and very clean! My single room had an amazing view, big bed, nice size bathroom for NYC but total room size was perfect for just me. Location was super central to get to the path for work commute, great bodega and coffee shops near by, easy walk to Bryant park and other sites yet quiet street at night. The best part was the staff especially Umree as they are so welcoming. While there isn’t a gym, bar or restaurant the rates are great and everything you want is close by. I found A great yoga studio just a couple of blocks away. Cheers to The Draper staff!

Loved my stay at The Draper. Great location if you’re looking to stay close to Times Square without the noise. Quiet street. The rooms were clean and updated! They’re not huge, but definitely enough space. The bathroom was also modern and clean. The staff is kind and welcoming and they have luggage storage in the lobby! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Adorei minha estadia no The Draper. Ótima localização se você quiser ficar perto da Times Square sem o barulho. Rua quieta. Os quartos eram limpos e atualizados! Eles não são enormes, mas definitivamente espaço suficiente. O banheiro também era moderno e limpo. A equipe é gentil e acolhedora e eles têm depósito para bagagem no lobby! Definitivamente recomendaria e ficaria aqui novamente.
Excelente ubicación, la atención del personal muy muy amable, limpio y decorado bonito . No le doy 5 estrellas porque no hay en donde guardar nada en los cuartos, entiendo que el espacio en NY es caro pero por 280 usd la noche si hubiera esperado una cajonera o algo y por otro lado no me gusta la idea de tener que pedir que limpien el cuarto y cambien toallas.

Excelente custo/benefício
O hotel foi reformado recentemente e as instalações são modernas e bonitas. Mas o quarto é muito pequeno, com pouco espaço de circulação e sem local para guardar as roupas. Para uma pessoa sozinha com uma mala pequena, foi suficiente. Mas para um casal com uma mala cada um ou mais vai ficar bastante apertado. O chuveiro é ótimo, mas o banheiro não tem uma bancada para deixar os cosméticos e acessórios, e dentro do box não há suporte para o hóspede deixar sabonete, shampoo e condicionador. Tive que deixar os meus no chão. A localização é ótima, perto de alguns pontos turísticos, vários restaurantes, lojas e estações de metrô de quase todas as linhas da cidade.
My opinion of this hotel is sincere. I loved it clean, above all, it's easy to enter the exit, the same, very easy, although the rooms are narrow but for two people it's comfortable, it's close to the tourist places to move to the subway the same. But I can’t wait for my next visitto New York 🗽Mi opinión sobre este hotel es sincera me encanto limpio sobre todoes fácil para ingresar la salida igual muy fácil, aunque las habitaciones son estrechas pero para dos personas es cómodo, está Cerca de los lugares turísticos para moverte a el metro igual, no puedo esperar para cuando vaya a New York hospedarme aquí nuevamente
Super bien ubicado en Midtown. Estuvimos 3 noches a mediados de Marzo. Llegamos temprano dps de un largo vuelo desde Argentina pero tuvimos que volver a las 15 hs pues nuestra hab no estaba disponible. Luego encantador Max en el check-in de la tarde ofreciéndonos una hab con vistas a la ciudad. La habitación es pequeña y hermosa. Cómoda y confortable. Sólo algunos mínimos detalles que no cuentan demasiado. Definitavemente volveré y recomendaré The Draper.
Es un buen lugar en especial por la ubicación que claramente te permite ir y volver a los lugares más concurridos y típicos de NY, cercano a estación de metro y tiene un par de buenos restaurantes cerca y en la calle anterior. El problema principalmente es que las habitaciones son muy pequeñas al igual que el baño, de hecho si abres la puerta de la ducha hacia afuera se topa con la puerta del baño (lol), pero en general bien aparte de eso. Los lugares para dejar tu ropa están debajo de las camas, ok se ahorran espacio pero sigue siendo un poco incómodo. La televisión se puede sincronizar a tu móvil, eso fue positivo y tiene una pequeña ventana para que entre aire fresco.
Comienzo esta reseña con la ubicación del hotel porque es estupenda, tienes todo cerca! Al llegar eres atendido con muchísima amabilidad por el personal. Las habitaciones son Wow!! Gratamente sorprendentes por el estado de la limpieza (algo muy importante para mi), baño impecable, camas cómodas y limpias para descansar después de las largas caminatas que exige la ciudad, también hay cafetera, secador de cabello, nevera. Un detalle que en mi caso no tuvo tanta importancia, pero cabe hacer la observación y es el tamaño de la habitación que por lo que veo en New York son pequeñas. Vuelvo a New York City y The Draper Hotel está #1 en mi lista de favoritos Gracias a todo el equipo que hizo agradable nuestra estancia.

A pesar de que nosotros también estuvimos en el problema con la reservación de booking.com ! Decidimos esperar ellos nos dijeron que buscarían una solución y así lo hicieron nos dieron una habitación ! El Hotel está casi nuevo todo impecable ! Sábanas camas y baños como nuevo ! Excelente ubicación ! Que nos permitió hacer nuestra visita a la Ciudad con mucha facilidad ! El conserje súper amable y tienen personal bilingüe!
It A Small Space For A High Price Cause It The City Area Of World Trade Center & Land Maker. Less Than 10mins In The Room I See Bugs. Running Around. In Plan View Worst Place Ever I Stayed Every. Hotel Is Not The Words. Bug Motel More Better. I Am Only Been Honest. My Room Was Change By Staff Cause I Didn't Have Time To Check In To Look For A New Hotel. But For Sure Would Not Book This Band Ever Again. Not Even If A It New Location. Paid 250+ For My Stay But Not Worth It. Book At Your Will. But Great Staff Let Say That For 1 Star.
The property comes out really good but it's not open yet may be in the October they are planning to open it's a 23 story building.
DON’T TRUST THEM! I stood here recently and, a day later, I see that I was charged an extra $200. I call to inquire and I’m told it’s a smoking fee. For one, I never smoked in my LIFE! Secondly, nobody ever contacted me about this imaginary situation. Management never contacted me. I’m told by front desk, with an attitude, that the manager (Patricia) just confirmed that I did smoke in this room. No evidence or anything. I would think before you would take someone’s hard earned money that you would at least contact them about it. These people are thieves. I actually stood here two other times and I never had this fee so why now? Since I’m such a “smoker.” They lost a customer and I will advise everyone else to not bother booking here.
For the price, this hotel is awesome. Never slept better in my life. The young gentleman Faru was really nice. Overall I enjoyed my stay
Very dirty. Crumbs all over the room stains on the carpet. Both mattress were covered in piss stains. The desk was not cleaned and sticky. Soap was empty and the shampoo was very questionable (should be individual trail sizes or have a lock on the dispensers). Used my own sheet and Blanket. Luckily I brought them because of the state of the beds. The lady who Checked me in was very nice I believe her name was Kim that is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Elevator was deff not cleaned during my 2 night 3 day stay ( there was a ‘m’ sticker from clothing on the elevator panel that was still there when I left. Also I don’t think the phone or remote have ever been cleaned.
I feel safe and comfortable throughout my stay at this hotel! I liked the room, and the hotel workers are very accommodating. The room was also clean, the free breakfast was excellent, and the infinity pool is fabulous. I would definitely recommend it to my friends, and I will surely book here next time.
