Our group of 10 walkers had wonderful lunch at this pub. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was excellent. It was a great atmosphere and we were made to feel very welcome. Fabulous accommodation and food, with superb attention to detail and friendly service.Just a few minutes from Westonbirt arboretum and the market town of Tetbury, the Cat & Custard Pot is located in a quiet village. It offers superior accommodation and the choice of an a la carte menu in the main restaurant, or a rich variety of pizzas in its custom built pizzeria.The beers and wines on offer are high quality and the rates, though at the higher end of the scale for what is effectively a B&B, represent good value for money.We would definitely visit again and would have no hesitation in recommending the Cat & Custard Pot to anyone visiting this part of the West Country. Fabuloso alojamento e comida, com excelente atenção aos detalhes e serviço amigável.A poucos minutos do arboreto de Westonbirt e da cidade mercantil de Tetbury, o Cat & Custard Pot está localizado em uma vila tranquila. Lovely people makes for a happy stay, the staff is fantastic, they make you feel at home from the minute you check-in. The amenities are simple but perfect, clean rooms, really hot water, big showers, comfy beds! Excellent food at the pub/restaurant. Good selection of beers and spirits as may may expect at local pub. Pessoas adoráveis contribuem para uma estadia feliz, a equipe é fantástica, eles fazem você se sentir em casa desde o momento do check-in. As comodidades são simples, mas perfeitas, quartos limpos, água muito quente, chuveiros grandes, camas confortáveis! Excelente comida no pub/restaurante. Boa seleção de cervejas e bebidas espirituosas, como pode esperar no pub local.

A very relaxed atmosphere, friendly service looked after us well and were happy to accommodate all we required. The choice of food was good and delicious. We found this on trip advisor and was not disappointed.The atmosphere was good, with a mix of locals eating and drinking outside.Food, service and price was excellent.We recommend the burger, fish and chips and steak and ale pie.As we were driving recommend the non alcoholic Gin and Tonic Encontramos isso no trip advisor e não ficamos desapontados.A atmosfera era boa, com uma mistura de moradores comendo e bebendo fora.Comida, serviço e preço foi excelente.Recomendamos o hambúrguer, peixe e batatas fritas e bife e torta de cerveja.Como estávamos dirigindo, recomendo o Gin e Tonic não alcoólico

Me and my partner stayed at this establishment for two nights in June, with the bill totalling nearly £500. The positives, great pizzeria and charming location. Unfortunately that is where the satisfaction ends. Living in London, I am used to paying premium prices, however I think it is rather absurd to pay that amount for a bedroom with no hot water and a hard mattress. Taking the mattress aside, we had no hot water facilities for the entire duration of the stay, and had to shower in freezing water. We told the staff on the first day and they said someone would come round to look into it - no one did. On leaving the hotel we asked to speak to management, however, no one was around and as we were in a rush to get home I said I would contact them on our return. I emailed the hotel and alerted them to the above and to be quite frank was met with hostility. The basically insinuatedthat there was no issues with the hot water and implied that I had fabricated the problem.I was in total shock at the way this has been handled and how I have been treated. They offered absolutely no resolve, no apology, and made me feel incredibly insulted.I wanted to make my comments known as I would hate anyone to suffer the same fate and spend money on such a poorly run establishment, that clearly does not care about it customers. Eu e meu parceiro ficamos neste estabelecimento por duas noites em junho, com a conta totalizando quase £ 500. Os pontos positivos, ótima pizzaria e localização charmosa. Infelizmente é aí que a satisfação termina. Morando em Londres, estou acostumado a pagar preços premium, mas acho um absurdo pagar esse valor por um quarto sem água quente e com colchão duro. Tirando o colchão de lado, não tivemos instalações de água quente durante toda a estadia e tivemos que tomar banho com água gelada. Dissemos à equipe no primeiro dia e eles disseram que alguém viria para investigar - ninguém o fez. Ao sair do hotel pedimos para falar com a gerência, no entanto, não havia ninguém por perto e como estávamos com pressa para chegar em casa eu disse que entraria em contato com eles no nosso retorno. Enviei um e-mail para o hotel e os alertei sobre o que foi dito acima e, para ser franco, fui recebido com hostilidade. O basicamente insinuou que não havia problemas com a água quente e deu a entender que eu havia fabricado o problema.Fiquei em choque total com a forma como isso foi tratado e como fui tratado. Eles não ofereceram absolutamente nenhuma resolução, nenhum pedido de desculpas, e me fizeram sentir incrivelmente insultado.Eu queria deixar meus comentários conhecidos, pois odiaria qualquer pessoa que sofresse o mesmo destino e gastasse dinheiro em um estabelecimento tão mal administrado, que claramente não se importa com os clientes.
I visited today with my elderly parents and the service could not have been better. The waiter was attentive and very flexible in adapting the menu. We particularly appreciated him splitting the chocolate brownie into two servings with different ice cream flavours. The food was superb too. The whole experience made the day very special for my parents and for me. Thank you! Visitei hoje com meus pais idosos e o atendimento não poderia ter sido melhor. O garçom foi atencioso e muito flexível na adaptação do menu. Nós particularmente apreciamos ele dividindo o brownie de chocolate em duas porções com diferentes sabores de sorvete. A comida estava excelente também. Toda a experiência tornou o dia muito especial para meus pais e para mim. Obrigada!
