O hotel e bem bonito, bem localizado - bem próximo ao lá isla shopping e possui excelente estrutura e praia linda. A nota foi baixa porque é de se esperar que em um resort desse porte os serviços básicos funcionem perfeitamente, porém em dez dias que fiquei hospedado tive problemas recorrentes e diários com: falta de água, falta de água quente, ar condicionado não funcionando no quarto, ar condicionado não funcionando nas áreas comuns. Fizeram a substituição do meu quarto duas vezes, mesmo assim os problemas continuaram. O atendimento dos funcionários e muito bom. Nada a reclamar do all inclusive.

The quality over price for this place is unbeatable. The all inclusive deal was amazing especially because the buffet food was great. Drinks and sandwiches were easily accessible. The beach side was also perfect !! The only thing that it was not good, was the hot tub of my room. The hot water was not really hot and didn't give us the experience that we wanted to have.

All staff was increadible. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious, there was a barbecue close the pool, the drinks came to my hand without efforts. My husband and I got in shock with the amazing service provided for us. Melody maker (Armar House) really worth it. There is no point to improve. It was perfect.

I was there the last week of February... I had mixed feelings when I arrived because the many reviews I read but let me tell you my time there was GREAT!The room was amazing with an amazing view, very clean and cleaned every day (aside the days I didn't want them to clean). You get a mini fridge with a few snacks (cookies & chips) and 3-4 beers, stocked up every day.Restaurants were delicious, there is a lot of Mexican theme food but HEY "you are in Mexico so..." and I am Mexican as well so for me the food was DELISHUS!Overall staff was so attentive, very helpful, quick and friendly but I got to do a SHOUT OUT to Sergio (Captain) & Andres (waiter at restaurants), they went above and beyond for us!; also shout out to Marbella (waitress at beach), she was the most attentive wait staff at beach.The pools were very clean and I really liked how they have the whole pools/beach areas set up. I love the beach so I spent my whole time by the beach but the cabanas by the pools look amazing and so fun, lots of young people with a great energy and ready to get the party started! Cabanas at the beach are free but I believe cabanas in the pool area have a minimum spend over the weekends, just ask!Overall I had an amazing experience, I do want to come back and I will and 100% recommend this place!Kudos to Melody Maker staff & management!

Loved my stay here. While I was at the pool with my girl and her friend I got invited to a Maxim party and my dates and I had a blast. The hotel had excellent service, great food, beautiful rooms and incredible showers, and the lounges are amazing. I recommend it.

This was our first all-inclusive hotel so I have nothing to comppare it to. Also, we we're supposed to stay somewhere else but through a mix-up stayed here without any additional cost so I'm not sure how much it would have cost. if I had paid more we might have had more expectations but overall we thought it was great. The number one that's thing that stood out as how nice the employees all are. The other number one thing that stood out is how this place is not for young kids. This place is for college spring breakers. The other number one thing that stood out to me is that the food is just okay but after a week of staying there we knew where to go to get the best food. There are only two main restaurants. The buffet and a Mexican / Asian / Italian restaurant depending on the night. Sometimes there is a grill with some meat outside either out past the pool or in the front near the building. all of these are limited hours except for the buffet. we got two rooms and the one of them didn't have hot water or it working air conditioning but that wasn't the problem because we just used the other room. The halls also echo very loudly so bring ear plugs if you plan to go to sleep before 3 a.m! The activities that we found to do are: a nice Beach, a couple of nice pools, a pool table, a ping pong table, there was a small band at night two of the five days we stayed. Summary: not for young kids or families, super nice employees, not a whole lot to do, was a great experience but I'm not sure if it would be worth the money, we looked at a couple of others that might have looked better for our family, super nice employees.

The beach área is nice, and the pools have been renovated. The main areas of the hotel are new and really cozy. The rooms could be renovated too, they have a really good space and the bed is amazing! I believe that the elevators can be renewed too. Food on my opinion was great! The Buffett is amazing, really good vibes on the restaurants and nice design. The location is fabulous having direct access to the beach. Has a 24/7 gym which is really good equipped for a vacation workout.

A estrutura do hotel é muito boa, um pouco barulhento em dia de show. Créditos aos mordomos Danny e Alfredo. A comida é normal, sem muito tempero mas com boa variedade. O chefe dos garçons do restaurante externo é bem mal humorado e visivelmente não gosta de atender os clientes. Reservam mesas e não sinalizam, causando transtorno e aborrecimento ao pedirem para se retirar... Algumas áreas do hotel só podem ser acessadas mediante pagamento (garrafa), mesmo sendo all inclusive e não explicam isso antes, você descobrirá isso na hora em que receberá um aviso para se retirar imediatamente. O quarto Villa frente mar é muito bom, mas o chuveiro às vezes não esquenta e a água do box escorre pelo quarto todo. A geladeira não gela. Mas em geral se você estiver bem humorado e pronto para a festa é um ótimo hotel.

Hotel muito bom em Cancun, no qual fiquei hospedado no mês de junho de 2019. Possui quartos enormes, com excelente acabamentos e limpeza muito boa. Fiquei na suite júnior com terraço com vista pro mar. Recomendo demais esse tipo de quarto, pois a vista de lá é excepcional, possuindo ainda uma outra cama no terraço onde pode ficar relaxado enquanto toma algumas Coronitas do frigobar. Possui duas piscinas grande e mais uma no deck do 1º andar, onde as estrangeiras praticam top less. Há três restaurantes muito bem decorados. O maior, onde é servido o café da manhã e à noite serve comidas diversas (internacional), um japonês, com pedidos a la carte e um mexicano. Não curti muito o mexicano, mas os outros são bons, questão mais de gosto pessoal. O grande problema desse hotel é que eles não abrem os três restaurantes para o jantar, se restringindo a apenas dois, o que ocasiona grandes filas de espera, que, dependendo do horário que vc for jantar, pode ser de mais de duas horas. Achei chato demais isso. De consolo, vc pode ficar no bar do restaurante ou nos outros bares do hotel bebendo algo enquanto espera. Recomendo ir jantar cedo, antes das 20:00 hs, assim se espera menos. Quanto a praia, é simplesmente linda. O mar é azul e transparente e com a luz do sol, mostra três tons de azul que é de cair o queixo. A estrutura de praia tem camas de casalcom um apoio triangular para as costas que são muito confortáveis e ainda contam com um guarda sol grande. Há um bar que serve tanto a piscina mais próxima da areia quanto o pessoal da praia. Há garçons que trabalham servindo o pessoal na areia, mas são bem lentos para trazê-las, pois acumulam muitos pedidos e por isso demoram demais. Compensa bem mais vc ir até o bar e pedir sua própria bebida, é mais rápido e vem mais gelada. O que achei bom nesse hotel é que vc não precisa acordar super cedo para conseguir uma cama na praia, pois, por ser um hotel mais para "baladeiros", todos acordam tarde e, mesmo que vc chegar as 10:00 horas na praia, ainda achará um lugar para se deitar e curtir a beleza local. Se for solteiro e quiser ficar azarando o pessoal, o local mais indicado é a piscina, onde todos bebem muuuuuuito e ficam muito loucos. Vale a festa. Outra coisa que achei legal nesse hotel é que os garçons e funcionários do hotel não ficam pedindo a "propina" dos hóspedes. Lógico que os americanos dão a toda hora, mas para nós brasileiros que ganhamos em real, isso não é tão fácil, e nem por isso não achei que fui mal atendido por não dar uma gorjeta. No geral, recomendo o hotel e a cidade de Cancun. Lugar lindo. Ano que vem volto, se Deus quiser.

The Melody Maker is easily a 5 star hotel. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because when we went in June 2018, the resort was only 2 months old; so construction was being done, the resort looked plain on the inside, but most of what was lacking was 'animacion'. There were no sports or activities organized at the beach to bring guests together. The DJ ONLY played House music, which can get a bit repetitive and boring after a while. Keeping in mind that we still had a relaxing time, enjoyed our stay without inconveniences, and the staff were really friendly, I would just take away 1 star. Definitely a nice resort, great (Cancun) beach, and all required amenities with great pools.
