Room was nice, cool, bed was comfortable. Check in was smooth, when you get to the building, go to the 4th floor and ring the buzzer on the door to your left exiting the elevator. Bathroom was disgusting, there was mold on the walls and the shower was covered top to bottom. The bed sheets were white and full of stains, which could easily be bleached so I'm left wondering if any of it is cleaned.

Fab location but unprofessional owner!
This place definitely deserves a 5 star for location. Stayed 3 nights. If you're looking to travel in Rome by foot, certainly recommend this. But you will have to deal with the guy who runs the place - Absolutely unprofessional and extremely rude on texts. He was alright face to face, but not the most friendly kind, being in hospitality sector.
Received texts and phone calls to get to the hotel at a particular time to check in and was told if not, there will be no staff to check us in. While check in time on the website is completely different. We had to get a cab immediately and head to the guest house. When there was no need to rush us at all.
Was quite disappointed with the smell of cigarette smoke all through the property. There was only shampoo in the bathroom, no soap, no toothpaste. We didn't ask as we didn't want to deal with the guy who runs the place again.
Room was quite small but it's alright for a couple of nights stay especially if you don't intend to spend a lot of time in the room. The bed was clean and comfy.
Would have enjoyed the stay if we were welcomed and dealt with politely.
Over all, if you are lucky you might have a good stay here.

Our stay in Rome was marvelous, and this is also thanks to the very good hotel. We got a shuttle arranged to pick us up from the airport, and were 40 minutes later at the hotel. The hotel is located in a very nice old Roman building. The owner was very friendly, gave us a very detailed explanation of the facilities. Next to that we got a very detailed description of Rome, some good advice on great spots to eat, and advice on how to get to the main sightseeing sites. The room was very clean, small but very comfortable, can't say anything bad about it. Same for the bathroom.
All in all, a great stay. We are definitely coming back to Rome, and will be booking the same hotel for sure!

The room was very clean. Had the basic amenities geared to utility. Places to hang and keep clothes and well equipped with power plugs which is something basic that is lacking in many places. The bed was super comfortable 😀

Clean, very kind staff, great location. We bought with the breakfast but I would say it isn't necessary...Would have preferred to go to the French bakery down the street, which is open first thing in the morning. The Croissants at their partner cafe were made with lard or something other than butter that left a slimey feel in my mouth.
