Un hotel con servicio familiar y un excelente trato por parte del dueño, quien siempre está muy atento a la necesidad de sus visitantes. Habitaciones cómodas, limpias y áreas comunes ordenadas. El precio es bastante accesible.

Good value and location. Walkable to some restaurants and 5 minute drive to Cloud Forest. I will say it’s more hostel than hotel. Basic amenities and small rooms.

Big hostel vibes (but also hostel prices). Across the street from a lovely sunset viewpoint. Excellent breakfast. The owner had lost our reservation but was able to accommodate us anyway. We only got one set of keys for our 4-person room which was a bit of a pain if we split up, since you have to lock the building door from the outside.

This was a great place to stay. I visted in March 2020 with my friends and their 10yr old son Carter. Alex the owner was an excellent host. Every morning he cooked us breakfast. He constantly left little puzzles and games for Carter (Alex said this is homework for Carter LOL). We were the only guests that didn't cancel our trip due to covid begining during this time period, so Alex may have spoiled us more than normal. Thanks again Alex, you were awesome. I hope I can return again one day.

Es como mi casa en Monteverde, uff, la atención es casi personalizada y el trato, muchos temas para desarrollar, muchas ofertas que ofrece con otros lugares... Y no ni si quiera uno se percata que estas en un hotel, pequeño, familiar y de pareja para escaparse prospere todo, es un lugar acogedor. Y las vistas que tiene....

The location was beautiful with a good view of sunsets nearby and view of clouds and mountains along and the staff were very nice people and served very very good food. The rooms are well maintained and the common area is aswell.

The owners are great people. It's a small, well run, inexpensive hotel. The food is good. Hot coffee, French toast, eggs pancakes. Simple. The buildings in Costa Rica are mostly all hand made, it's interesting to see the craftsmanship that we in the US take for granted. Beautiful wood for example. There's information on tours and a ping pong table. Quaint, simple hotel.

The friendliest and cleanest hotel in the area. Highly recommended. And just across the street is an amazing place to watch the sunset over the deep canyon!

This is a fine place for a cheap stay. Shared bathrooms that are reasonably clean and a private, small room. Free wifi. Breakfast is free, variable, and of ok quality and quantity. However, there's no choices, so you're screwed if you have any dietary restrictions. This is a mom and pop place where the wife speaks no English and the husband is fluent. Not a problem, just something to be aware of. Anyway, I recommend it so long as you're looking for a hostel style with a private room.

This is a must stay if you are in Monteverde. Exceptional attention from staff and owner, beautiful breakfast & cheap prices. Can't go wrong! (Walk is up a steep hill to hotel)
