A partir do momento em que chegamos, fomos recebidos de uma forma muito amigável e profissional. O nosso quarto era muito espaçoso e moderno e impecavelmente limpo. Máquina de café e chaleira foram fornecidas e até mesmo uma pequena garrafa de desinfetante para as mãos. A comida e serviço no restaurante foram excelentes e, em geral, eu recomendaria este hotel a todos.
We recently enjoyed a dinner, bed & breakfast package with Gleesons and would like to thank all thestaff for making this a lovely treat. Special mention to Aisling who was so kind and welcoming.We were impressed with the cleanliness of the premises with hand sanitisers throughout.We felt very safe and protected.Our room was lovely with a great view to the bay.Decor in the hotel was tasteful and cosy with fires lighting. Dinner was delicious and I particularly enjoyed the pate.Breakfast was also top quality with good selections. My french toast with bacon was very good. Staff were attentive and friendly and followed safety guidelines. We finished our visit with a wander around the on-site mini marketwhere we bought some brown bread (best ever) and some other treats.We really enjoyed our short and much needed break and will be back again hopefully soon for another treat night out.
Um ótimo lugar seguro para ficar durante os tempos de Covid. Equipe maravilhosa e útil. Provavelmente comi a melhor tigela de mingau de todos os tempos. Nós jantamos lá também. Muito gostoso, poderia dizer perfeito. Na verdade, já estou planejando outra noite. Eu moro a apenas cinco quilômetros de distância, então uma surpresa agradável.
Desde el momento en que llegamos nos recibieron de una manera muy amable y profesional. Nuestra habitación era muy espaciosa y moderna y estaba impecablemente limpia. Se proporcionó cafetera y hervidor de agua e incluso una pequeña botella de desinfectante para manos. La comida y el servicio en el restaurante fueron excelentes y, en general, recomendaría este hotel a todo el mundo.
Recientemente disfrutamos de un paquete de cena, alojamiento y desayuno con Gleesons y nos gustaría agradecer a todo el personal por hacer de este un regalo encantador. Mención especial para Aisling que fue tan amable y acogedora.Nos impresionó la limpieza de las instalaciones con desinfectantes de manos en todas partes. Nos sentimos muy seguros y protegidos.Nuestra habitación era preciosa con una gran vista a la bahía. La decoración del hotel era de buen gusto y acogedora con chimeneas. La cena estuvo deliciosa y me gustó especialmente el paté. El desayuno también era de primera calidad con una buena selección. Mi tostada francesa con tocino era muy buena. El personal fue atento y amable y siguió las pautas de seguridad. Terminamos nuestra visita con un paseo por el mini mercado del lugar donde compramos pan integral (el mejor de todos) y algunas otras delicias.Realmente disfrutamos de nuestro breve y muy necesario descanso y con suerte volveremos pronto para otra noche de placer.
Un gran lugar seguro para alojarse durante los tiempos de Covid. Personal maravilloso y servicial. Probablemente tuve el mejor tazón de avena de todos los tiempos. Cenamos allí también. Muy sabroso, podría decir perfecto. De hecho, ya estoy planeando otra noche. Solo vivo a tres millas de distancia, así que una agradable sorpresa.

A great safe place to stay during Covid times. Wonderful and helpful staff. I had probably the best bowl of porridge ever. We had our dinner there as well. Very tasty, could say perfect. Actually planning another night already. I only live three miles away, so a pleasant surprise .
From the moment we arrived we were greeted in a very friendly and professional manner. Our room was a very spacious and modern and spotlessly clean . Coffee machine and kettle were provided and even a small bottle of hand sanitizer. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent and overall I would recommend this Hotel to everybody.
The food was great, we ordered the crab fish starter and the gleesons’ smoked fish as a starter. Both were great but the smoked fish was boiling hot and I wasn’t warned beforehand and I burnt my mouth quite badly. The mains were great but the waitress seemed overworked and got my order wrong and had to bring another.The barman was also INCREDIBLY rude to me and demanded I wear a mask when walking to the bathroom. I asked the waitress about the bathroom before going and she mentioned nothing about this bizarre rule. I’ve never had to wear a mask in a restaurant whilst in Dublin. When I told him that I hadn’t been informed about this, he was even MORE hostile and said there were signs(?? Signs that I never saw). If it’s of that much importance-tell your staff to inform people so we’re not yelled at in front of other eating customers. It was humiliating and very unnecessary. Would come again for the food but wear a mask when you need to go to the loo, otherwise you might get publicly harangued!
La comida es bastante buena, 4/5 quizás? ¡La Guinness también es buena! He estado entrando y saliendo durante más de 7 años, habiendo vivido y trabajado en la zona. Sin embargo, debo decir que cada vez que estoy aquí, el servicio es excepcionalmente pobre. Todos los camareros y camareras son completamente ambivalentes con los clientes mientras están en su mesa. Nadie está sentando a los clientes en este momento durante los tiempos de covid y tratar de que se entregue una factura es como intentar tomar un taxi bajo la lluvia a las 2 am :)En general, debería venir aquí (sí, estoy sentado aquí ahora, todavía esperando la factura ...) pero, por favor, capacite a su personal para que preste más atención a los clientes. Es la única razón por la que a veces evito venir aquí.
The food is pretty good, 4/5 maybe? The Guinness is good too! I have been coming in and out for over 7 years now having lived and worked in the area. However I must say that every single time I am here the service is exceptionally poor. All waiters and waitresses are completely ambivalent to customers while at their table. No-one is seating customers right now during covid times and trying to get a bill delivered is like trying to hail a cab in the rain at 2 am :) Overall you should come here (yes, I'm sitting here now, still waiting on the bill...) but please please please train your staff to pay more attention to customers. It is the only reason I sometimes avoid coming here.

Lovely place to have your lunch, with variety of meals and prices according to the quality. Fast service delivered by kind staff. You can enjoy thr outdoor terrace with very comfortable sits if the weather is kind.
Acabei de desfrutar de um delicioso almoço em seu terraço ao ar livre renovado. Foi a primeira vez que "saí para almoçar" desde meados de março e fiquei extremamente impressionado com todos os esforços e considerações de segurança que os Gleesons colocaram em prática devido aos atuais problemas de saúde pública. A comida excelente aqui é algo com o qual estávamos acostumados. Melhores notas para as várias medidas que instalaram. Pessoal adorável, profissional e amigável também
Acabo de disfrutar de un delicioso almuerzo en su renovada terraza al aire libre. Era la primera vez que salía a almorzar desde mediados de marzo y quedé muy impresionado con todos los esfuerzos y consideraciones de seguridad que Gleesons ha puesto en práctica debido a los problemas actuales de salud pública. La buena comida aquí es algo a lo que estábamos acostumbrados. Las mejores calificaciones por las muchas medidas que han instalado. Personal encantador, profesional y amable también
Just enjoyed a delightful lunch on their revamped outdoor terrace. It was the first time I have been "out to lunch" since mid-March & I was hugely impressed at all of the efforts & safety considerations that Gleesons have put in place given the current public health issues. The great food here is something to which we had been accustomed. Top marks for the many measures they have installed. Lovely, professional & friendly staff too
