Dirty rooms. Shady area at night. My room may not have been turned over and I had to stay in it. Wouldn't even let you use the restroom when checking in. My worst experience at a hotel/ motel ever.

It’s one of those places that, upon arrival, you feel like you should cancel and drive off. You then realize all the trouble you went through and just come to terms with the situation.
At least that’s how I felt. My situation was I had been up since 4am, having left Pensacola and Miami earlier that same day…so I was tired and decided to venture inside the property to get my room.
The gentleman (or in these nutty days maybe it’s “them/it/that/those/he/him/her/she…) at the counter has nice and friendly. I admitted to him I was unsure of the area and location and he kept his good nature and replied that he hoped I would enjoy my stay. I appreciated him having a positive attitude.
I got into my room and was disappointed that the A/C hadn’t been left on and it was terribly hot in the room. I turned on the A/C, left the room to my car and just waited there for a while. After a while, I went back to the room and checked the whole thing out...for the cheap price I paid I couldn’t be picky nor complain. The room was clean and met my immediate needs…Sleep and Hot Water.
Would I stay here again? Sure, if I was in a tight jam while in the area. The facilities are well taken care of and more than satisfactory compared to other cheap hotels I’ve been to.
If you’re one of those pretentious or narcissistic uppity types then you won’t even see this review because you’re not considering an “Econo Lodge”. If you’re just a regular Joe/Jane, like to be thrifty and smart, then this may work out for you. I suggest a handicapped room if you are last minute and late with your reservation.
There isn’t an elevator here, so for the type that struggle to get around make sure to secure a ground floor or find another hotel.
Overall? Great place to get rest and a hot shower. TV works, all channels worked, the remote was new and wrapped in a small plastic bag. A/C blew cold and kept up despite it’s small ratty look.

Staff do not know what they are doing at all. They cancelled our reservation when we got there because they couldn't figure out how their own company's reservation system works. Literally booked and paid on the choice website only to have them cancel when we arrived.

Comfortable. Has microwave and mini refrigerator. No elevator. Great staff- friendly and professional. Would stay again.
