El Avista Grande Phuket Karon - MGallery, con vistas al mar de Andamán, le invita a escapar. Este hotel boutique de 5 estrellas, ubicado en una frondosa ladera de una montaña, combina la rica cultura local con influencias sino-portuguesas de forma armoniosa. Descanse en la refrescante piscina irregular. Revitalícese en un relajante spa. Pasee por las arenas inmaculadas de la playa de Karon antes de disfrutar del ocio nocturno en la cercana playa de Patong.

I usually never leave reviews, but this place for a 5 star absolutely shocked me. We got there for our Honeymoon only to realise our room was not ready even though we arrived 2 hours past the check in time. We got charged over 5 dollars for a coke we had in the fridge even though the price said differently. The staff was so unfriendly, never once said hi or bye or anything of that nature. Our room had a crack in between the doors so we kept hearing the air blow the entire night. Absolutely shocking and would not give this anything higher than a 3 star hotel. The only reason I am giving it two stars is purely for the fact that they had a bar at the pool which was really cool and the breakfast was OKAY.

So I would give them 2 star as - below expectations and should not come back. 3 stars - below expectation, just ok should come back 4 stars - standard. 5 stars - above expectations Pros - lovely boutique hotel - room is spacious Cons - did not have complimentary on your special occasion unless asked. (Already acknowledged them before months that is the birthday) - the breakfast selections are boring. Less than expected. - amenities like toothbrush have to ask. The shampoo bottle pump did not work. - the hotel is not beach front. - I guess you have to request the pool bar side of the building. Or pay more.

I expected more, as I have seen and read good reviews. It is not near beach. The dim sum place is not so good for dinner, more for drinks. The room is not well cleaned as you can see from my pictures, there are dust and spider web. I didn’t notice til my last day. The toiletries pumps didn’t work.

Avista Grande is a stone's throw away from Karon beach. The property is clean, well planned and has a great pool, spacious rooms and staff who will do everything to make your stay comfortable. I'd recommend taking the beach view rooms on the higher storeys, and the sea food buffet at the Portosino restaurant.

This is not a Beach resort. This resort is across the beach and takes 5 min walk to reach Karon beach. Beach is quite and clean and shallow water where you can enjoy with family. Rest of area around resort is quite silent, not much to do. Swimming pool is the best thing about this resort. I stayed for 6 days and Breakfast was exactly same each morning, they should looking at changing the menus at Least in 2 days. The only restaurant at the resort has extremely limited options so so can not enjoy your meal there. I will not be interested in staying again.
