VIK Chile

This is an extraordinary place. The land is vast - it sits in 10000 acres- and the scenery is glorious. You come to taste the wines, but then find that the building and its rooms are dedicated to modern art. Every bedroom is individually decorated, by a Chilean artist. The corner rooms are the best as their huge windows look out in two directions over the vineyards and lakes. Wonderful meals, worthy of a Michelin star - you get to sample the excellent wines produced by the vineyard. Service is thoughtful, charming friendly and yet not too obtrusive. Pretty well perfect.
