Os quartos são espaçosos mas a alcatifa dos corredores estão muito manchadas. O pequeno almoço era bom mas sempre a mesma comida.

Bom hotel de classe média no Pestsidan. Boa arrumação, camas confortáveis, ok AC (quando é 30 graus fora) e pessoal muito agradável e útil. No entanto, o café da manhã é tão lá. Perto do autocarro que o levará ao banho Szechenyi, bem como ao centro da cidade. No entanto, apenas 30 minutos a pé do Parlamento e 40 minutos a pé do Mercado Municipal. Muito bom WIFI.

For 128€ a night as a minimum I expect rooms to be clean. We had a double family room, it was very dirty and smelled bad. When you travel with small kids that is big NO. Obviously they vacuum clean only open space. There was a lot of dust in all corners and under the heaters, plus two pairs of used socks left by previous guests. The carpets need deep cleaning. Room is very basic and walls, lights, AC, heaters, bathroom begs for renovation. I've also added few photos of views. Breakfast was not that bad but did not change our impressions.

First of all, my stay was very brief - two nights only, and leaving at 4:30 in the morning on the last day - but nevertheless I got to 'experience' Star City Hotel.
My room upon arrival seemed to be not very clean: dust on the edge of the board behind the bed, a big stain on the bed, hairs in the sink that were not removed during cleaning, mold on the shower ceiling that came in many color variations ranging from dark green to black, and damages to the sink and lamp beside the bed. As one can imagine I returned to the reception to leave note on the condition of my room and asked if there was anything that could be done about it but the lady behind the reception told me that housekeeping went away already and that there was nothing that she could do as she was not entitled to, and the manager was not available.
Except that was not the only unpleasant thing I'd gotten to experience there. I asked a day prior to receive a wake-up call because I had to leave very early in the morning and I could not afford to miss my flight, so I opted for a call along side my several alarm clocks to wake me. But that call never happened. The gentleman behind the reception that morning tried to apologize to me when I checked out with the excuse 'I am so sorry ma'am, I had so much administration to do that I was not able to call you.' to which I asked him why the wake-up call was listed as one of the hotel's service. He had no idea.
So to anyone who wants to book this hotel, please keep this in mind. To everyone else, this was simply my own experience and experiences as well as opinions may vary.

Not very friendly staff they could smile a lot more, even if we don't speak each other's language a smile and a nod is welcoming. Perhaps a few Customer Care lessons.
More eggs and bacon at breakfast, your English guests would like this.
Very Clean rooms, quiet at night and nicely decorated.
Good position for getting around Railway station and Metro 10 minutes walk.

El hotel es bastante básico pero la relación calidad precio es muy buena. Es un hotel económico, limpio, bien comunicado y cerca del barrio judío. El personal muy atento y el desayuno, sin ser espectacular, cumple bastante bien con lo que puedes esperar: Buffetcon bollería, fruta, embutidos, huevos revueltos y salchichas. Tuvieron un detalle muy bueno. Una de las personas del viaje cumplía años y Le dejaron en la habitación una botella de cava para felicitarle.

The staff forgot to send the transit bus for my family to the airport, and they said I need to calltaxi. The hostel anyway in the retro category. The night shift guy was very friendly and he compensated us with coffee and some juice. All together it worth the money.

Muy buen hotel con excelente trato. La recepcionista de la tarde un encanto ! Esta cerca de la estación Keleti y te permite mover a todos lados. Los alrededores no me gustaron, pero tampoco pasó nada. El único inconveniente, fuéque mi cofre de seguridad no funcionó y no pudieron solucionarlo. Igualmente lo recomiendo !

Lugar decente para dormir. Cerca del centro de la ciudad. No muy lejos de la parada de metro y bus. Buen precio por noche. La calle es bastante tranquila, por lo tanto no hay mucho ruido. El desayuno podría ser mejor pero lo demas lo compensa. Hablan inglés en recepción. El personal es amable.

Hidden gem! The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean and ready for us. The staff spoke English. Would have been a 5 if the air conditioning was working.
