Muito bem localizado, staff super amigavel, quarto limpo. Alem disso eles organizam atividades pra conhecer a cidade diariamente. Recomendo.

A estrutura é bem legal, o café da manhã também é muito bom. O bar a noite é legal para esquentar e conhecer gente. Além disso fica em uma das ruas mais movimentadas da cidade!

Absolutely no respect of social distanciation rules in covid time on my last visit there in October 2019. I had to take highly risks there as I'm working on Vancouver Island but had to stop a few days in Vancouver for professionals reasons. The staff is very friendly and nice but the problem come from the management who just thinking about business.

For my first hostel experience, from the US, the staff is great, the rates are great, the bar down stairs and guided tours/recommendation spots for food, trips etc.
Mind, this is a review one year after my experience, and I still remember how wonderful it was.
Keep in mind, pack light, bring sandals or some for the showers, and make change for toonies or loonies for laundry, and a locker padlock for a personal locker.
Was an absolute blast, and from what I heard in the town, this was one of the best of the hostels around.
(Was here for LTX19 and loved the people I met along the way!)

First impressions, very friendly staff, cool communal spaces. lots of room to sit.wifi works well . Area is a bustling community of Granville street shops, bars and other business including 7-11, and Tim Hortons. I was able to have delivery apps dropping off dinner and a bottle of wine to this location . Space available to cook, store food, communal area that is wiped down often. Other guests are friendly. masks are optional. no shaming from either side. My only concern is one bed had a very strong smell of urine. since we are only allowed 3 to a 6 bed dorm , I was able to opt for a upper bunk. I bought room scent and spray it accordingly and it seems to work. I also recieved a refund no problem for nights I will not use due to returning to work earlier than I expected. :( Cons. The nightlife in Van is very healthy and alive. expect that noise to find its way into your ears So, bring earplugshave your own towel, a room freshener spray of your choice and a lock for the locker for personal items.

First time staying in a hostel! I was stepping outside of my comfort zone a little bit, but the experience was well worth it. I had a great time meeting people and the staff were very helpful. Good location too; not too far a walk from bus stops or the train station, and there's a 7eleven within a few metres.

Staff is super helpful kind and friendly! The rooms are good with lots of character. Really affordable for being in downtown Vancouver. The location is great for biking to many attractions, sitting on Granville Street is perfect for night life. Only thing I didn't like was the cleanliness of the bathroom floors. So bring flip flops !

I stayed at this hostel back in February and I was very impressed! It was first time staying in a hostel and I have to say I had a very good experience here. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and the best thing was the free breakfast and daily activities! They had a great variety for a continental breakfast with bagels, all the fixings, fruit, hard boiled eggs, coffee, te hot chocolate and juice! As someone who traveled alone I loved the daily activities. They do cost, but it was very reasonable and included your transportation. I met some very nice people. The hostel also has a nice pub on the first floor where people come to mingle. I stayed in a 6 person all female dorm room and I have to say that the bed pods were great and let you have your own privacy. The only negative remark I have is there was a bit of a bad smell in the first stairwell going up to the rooms but other than that it was a great hostel and I had a great stay! I would definitely stay here again!

El hostel bueno. Muy bien ubicado!! Precio adecuado para lo que ofrecen. Las habitaciones muy chicas. No tienen ascensor.. lo cual es un bajón subir 3 pisos por escalaras con las valijas. El baño pequeño también. El desayuno medio acotado. No tenían gran variedad. Los bagels muy ricos!! El comedor estaba medio desorganizado. Tiene cocina lo q es un must en estos lugares, bastante bien organizada. Estadía agradable.

Depois de muita pesquisa escontrei o Samesun... Excelente localização, região bem central! Me hospedei no quarto de 6 pessoas, as camas são como cápsulas privativas, muito interessante! Os quartos são limpos, e os banheiros estavam impecáveis. Tem um bar que abre as 4:00 pm super gostoso. Com certeza a próxima vez que vier a Vancouver ficarei aqui novamente. Nota 1000

Fantastic stay! Friendly staff, well priced with free breakfast. Great tours which encouraged folks to mingle most free and include discount at the bar. Coming areas were clean. Fast WiFi! Centrally located and walkable from the metro or to all the local swing dance and arts areas! Would give 6 starts if I could.
