Ratua Island

Ratua Island is a wild, magical place with authentic people who offer a simple and warm reception in a naturally beautiful environment. The 146 acre island is also home to horses, ponies, cattle sheep, goats, pigs and chickens that roam free across the land. The Yacht Club, the meeting place is the Island's social center, composed of an open dining room, lounge and bar each under it's own soaring thatched roof is just off a central open-air wooden deck. Wi-fi internet is also available at the Yacht Club. It is surrounded by a media/game room, Cinebrousse (Ratua's very own Cinema room), jetty cabana, kitchen, sandy beach and wooden deck with comfortable lounge chairs overlooking genly lapping turquoise waters. Within the 3 villages, Fish Village, West Point Village and South Point Village, are the Indonesian-style villas. These individual 200 year old homes were brought specially to Ratua and recontructed on site offering stunning views with a private deck or beach.
