Very worn down and tired looking inside and out. My room was noisy, being right near a busy road.

After a month of camping and with soaked sleeping bags and tents, our tawdry group of 6 stumbled into this hotel for a welcome break of three nights. The rooms were sparse and the decor a little bit old, but it was a very welcome break. The staff were very helpful, and only had us pay for three people while we were in fact, six.

Felt we could have got them under the trade description act, photos looked good but the actual room was extremely poor, old and in poor condition. Smelt of old carpets, quite unpleasant and the bathroom had not been refurbished for many years. Noisy wedding held outside our room which meant restaurant was shut for night which was not too much of a bad thing as we wanted to spend as little time here as possible. Very noisy with children running along upstairs walkways all day and night. Very expensive for very poor, old fashioned, tatty rooms, would not recommend or ever stay again. Wish I had been brave enough to ask for my money back.
