This Elkhart hotel is just a 20-minute drive from the University of Notre Dame. It offers free Wi-Fi and modern rooms with a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Standard amenities include a microwave small fridge and coffee maker. Each room is decorated with dark wood furniture and has a built-in window seat. Guest laundry facilities are on site at the Elkhart Microtel Inn. It also provides fax and copy services at the 24-hour front desk. The Shipshawana Flea Market is within a 30-minute drive of Microtel Inn and Suites Elkhart. The Elkhart Rail Road Museum and Island Park are both 10 minutes’ drive away.

The room was old and not very clean, shampoo was used and they don’t give you conditioner. For $80 a night it would have been fine but for $170 it was a rip off. Towels were dingy, tub had no stopper, stains on furniture, broken tv remote and breakfast was basically waffles. The front desk clerk was pleasant and nice. Staff was friendly. It’s next to a Motel 6 that’s pretty rough.

No te quedes aquí. Servicio grosero durante el turno de noche, terribles opciones de desayuno y paredes finas como el papel con almohadas sucias. No puedo creer que deje que mi familia duerma en este hotel. Debería haber leído las críticas y darme cuenta de que el propietario discute con cada crítica negativa. Eso es muy revelador sobre la calidad de la institución.

Não posso acreditar que deixei minha família dormir neste hotel. Eu deveria ter lido os comentários e percebido que o proprietário discute com cada comentário negativo. Do not stay here. Rude service during the night shift, terrible breakfast options, and paper thin walls with dirty pillows. Cannot believe I let my family sleep in this hotel. I should have read the reviews and realized that the owner gets on to argue with every negative review. That is very telling about the quality of the institution.

Soy de Canadá y el camión se descompuso y necesitaba una habitación de hotel mientras se realizaban las reparaciones, la mejor opción de hotel en Elkhart. Muy amable y servicial ya que tuve que quedarme más tiempo de lo esperado. Charlie era muy bueno y agradable. Hotel en buena zona en cuanto a opciones de comida.

Este lugar huele a viejo y a moho, te pega en la puerta. Las habitaciones están mal limpiadas. Solo están haciendo lo mínimo. ¡Debería haber tomado fotos! Había montones de suciedad en la alfombra, en las esquinas, en todas partes. Dormí con ropa porque no quería mi piel en esas sábanas, pero honestamente debería haberme ido.Mientras dormía, alguien gritó "ama de llaves" y abrió mi puerta de inmediato, cuando grité, simplemente cerré la puerta y me fui.La alarma contra incendios extremadamente fuerte seguía encendiéndose y apagándose.A las 11:00 en punto una anciana blanca estaba LLAMANDO a mi puerta. Literalmente tenía mi abrigo y mi bolso, listos para salir cuando abrí la puerta. Ella dijo groseramente "la salida es a las 11:00"... CLARO que me voy.Simplemente una experiencia horrible en general.

Este lugar cheira a velho e a mofo, bate na porta. Os quartos são mal limpos. Eles estão apenas fazendo o mínimo. Eu deveria ter tirado fotos! Eu literalmente tinha meu casaco e minha bolsa, prontos para sair quando abri a porta. Ela rudemente disse "check-out é às 11:00"…. CLARO que vou embora.Apenas uma experiência horrível em geral.

This place smells old and of mildew, it hits you at the door. The rooms are poorly cleaned. They are just doing the bare minimum. I should’ve taken pictures! There was loads of dirt on the carpet, in the corners, just everywhere. I slept in clothes because I didn’t want my skin on those sheets, but I honestly should’ve just left.While I was asleep, someone yelled “housekeeper” and opened my door immediately, when I shouted the just shut the door and were gone.Extremely loud fire alarm kept going on and off.At 11:00 on the dot some old white lady was BANGING on my door. I literally had my coat and bag, ready to walk out when I opened the door. She rudely said “check out is at 11:00”…. CLEARLY I’m leaving.Just a horrible experience overall.

I'm from Canada and truck broke down and required a hotel room while repairs made, best choice of hotel in Elkhart. Very friendly and accommodating as I had to stay longer than expected. Charlie was very good and personable. Hotel in good area as for food choices.

The lady was rude when we were there to check in. She asked if we knew the rooms were non-smoking....um duh. Aren't all hotels non-smoking?But we must have looked like trouble to her so she was definitely off putting.Probably because I had a Spanish speaker with me.
