Kariega Game Reserve Main Lodge

The accommodation is in the Kariega Game Reserve, on the Garden Route from Cape Town to the Sunshine Coast, in the Eastern Cape. The reserve is a malaria-free safari destination bordered by two rivers. Stretching across 10000 hectares of wilderness with many game and bird species, it offers an ideal safari holiday as well as a good base to visit and explore Cape Town and South Africa's impressive scenery and coastline. In addition, it is a short drive from the coastal village of Kenton-on-Sea and an 80-minute drive from Port Elizabeth, a popular water sports and holiday spot and one of South Africa's largest cities. The accommodation is suitable for families, friends and couples wishing to be in a relaxed environment and enjoy the African bush. The log chalets have air-conditioning, large decks with views, spacious lounges, fireplaces and satellite TV. Some chalets have a plunge pool.
