The high-rise Hyatt Place has free Wi-Fi hotel-wide as well as flat-panel TVs and coffeemakers in all 157 rooms. Swim in the open-air covered pool. Dine on-site after a workout in the spacious fitness room or a stint in the business center. Valet parking is available for an extra charge and area shuttle service is free. The hotel is next door to Houston's upscale Galleria shopping complex. The Houston Astros play at Minute Maid Park 20 minutes away by car. George Bush Intercontinental Airport is 40 miles from the property.

Silencioso, seguro e confortável. Os funcionários do hotel, especialmente Morgan, foram muito profissionais e prestativos. Como uma pessoa em cadeira de rodas, achei a propriedade muito acessível e bem projetada. O acesso ao shopping Galleria ficava a apenas 1 quarteirão de distância e os restaurantes da região são maravilhosos.

I cannot call this a hotel. It's more like a service apartment. The breakfast according to my children is worse than what they served in their school. We have to pay for parking. Why? There is no housekeeping. We are practically out the entire day since we are on vacation. When we are back, the beds are the same as when we left. We are only given new towels. The WIFI in the room is horrible and we have to ask for a secondary connection. The last day before checking out (12pm supposedly), the housekeeping lady opened our door at 8am wanting to clean the room.

Quiet, safe, and comfortable. The hotel staff especially Morgan were very professional and helpful. As a wheelchair bound person I found the property very accessible and well designed. Access to the galleria mall was only 1 block away and the restaurants in the area are wonderful.

Fiquei lá por 3 noites. O quarto era grande e confortável. A cama e a roupa de cama (e travesseiros) são boas. O sofá (cama) era desconfortável para sentar, pois as almofadas não ficavam para trás. Porta de VIDRO muito estranha para o banheiro - fosca, mas você ainda pode ver o que está acontecendo. Boa TV. O quarto ficava escuro como breu à noite ou, se você acendesse a luz do banheiro, era como se fosse dia (por causa da porta de vidro).Parecia ter poucos funcionários (e provavelmente era), mas os funcionários eram amigáveis. Um buffet de café-da-manhã verdadeiramente HORRÍVEL - sem pão de qualquer tipo - sem torradas - nada. Ovos falsos e bacon e salsicha decentes (dias alternados).Absolutamente nenhum lugar para estacionar - mesmo para o check-in. Estacionamento com manobrista realmente caro a apenas US $ 29 / dia, mais dicas.

From the beginning of the arrival, the valet barely spoke, no bell hops for bags (was told they were probably all in guests’ rooms), no help from the valet with the door to the car or bags. Employee at the front desk on the night that we arrived was very rude and not welcoming. Asked for new towels the following day and the trash to be taken out from the room. Spoke with the general manager and was told that someone would be by to take the trash out and bring towels out, no one came until later that evening after a full day almost passed. Also had to take my own trash out. The room itself was subpar. Loud AC, bathroom had the bare minimum and not to mention, the shower curtain had brown stains on it which I’d hate to really find out what the stains were. One bar of soap given with no soap dish. Bathroom door didn’t lock at all because the lock was broken. The bathtub had drainage issues that need to be addressed. The water barely drained in the tub and when it did, it was very slow. I was very disappointed to say that what I paid for this hotel was not worth the money, and will never stay again. I’ve never had an experience like this at any Hyatt that I’ve ever stayed at and hope to never have an experience like this again at a Hyatt.

Stayed there for 3 nights. The room was large and comfortable. The bed and bedding (and pillows) good. The sofa (bed) was uncomfortable to sit on as the cushions wouldn't stay on. Very strange GLASS door into the bathroom - frosted, but you can still see what's going on. TV good. Room was either pitch black at night, or if you turned on the bathroom light, it was like daytime (because of the glass door). It felt short-staffed (and probably was), but the employees were friendly. A truly AWFUL breakfast buffet - no bread of any kind - no toast - nothing. Fake eggs and decent bacon and sausage (alternating days). Absolutely nowhere to park - even for check-in. Really expensive valet parking only at $29/day plus tips.

Great location. Restaurants walking distance. Very clean. Friendly staff. But Valet parking only- be prepared to pay for it. Sofa in the room - pretty hard. Only thing I don’t like is a small pool- won’t be able to do lap swims for work out. I’d come here again for sure for a short visit. If you are planning on a special occasion, you may wanna choose a different option.
