I went to Garden City Hotel for walk in interview for the front office receptionist.
What they offered me was 700 AED, and letting me know that it's the salary for fresher receptionist in Dubai.
I'm wondering, Is cleaners in Dubai earning more than receptionist who is fresher in their companies in Dubai!

The staffs are so welcoming even their security is so hospitable. I took a standard room which was very clean no funny smell and the rate is moderate

Poor hotel located in very crowded area. A lot of noisy you gonna hear from other rooms due to poor noiseproof also if you are not comfortable with your room due to any reason they will not change it for you. Room keys are not working and you need to go every time to the reception to send someone with you to open the room for you which gonna take aroud 10 mints.
Not professional at all and will never come back here!

I stayed at the hotel for 5 days on the checking day while I was at the airport I just recall I forget my watch at the hotel and I called the hotel they confirmed that they find my watch. I told them to courier me and I will pay whatever the cost is and was ready to pay above for the services. They said ok and then gradually stop responding to me its now 2 weeks I keep asking for my watch and no response.

Hotel is located in Naif, Diera. Its in old Dubai city and many shops and restaurants are located near by. Only issue is it is about 1.2 km from nearest metro station. Getting a cab from this place is difficult.
Hotel is good. Rooms size is good and are maintained. Washrooms are fine. You get 24 hours hot water supply. AC is too good. You also get free wifi. Our room tariff included free breakfast which was fine.
Special appreciation for the hotel staff, from guard to receptionist, restaurant staff, housekeeping, chef - everyone is so curteous, helpful and ready to give solution to your problems. Our 5 days stay was very pleasant. Keep it up guys.
