So, I asked to have the sheets changed and fresh towels be put in the room because I had been rooming with a friend for a couple of days until our husbands got here today. The representative told me they would let housekeeping know. We were gone from 7:50am until 3:30pm. When we got back nothing had been done, and my husband was handed sheets to change the bed himself and a stack of towels. When I called the front desk to let them know I was not happy with this service, the man on the phone was very rude. No apology. Wow. Covid or not, if I pay for a hotel room, I expect clean sheets and curteous behavior from the staff. Marriott, you have some training to do, and by the way, hallways full of trashbags and dirty towels I find disgraceful. I understand this comes from the top. You can do better than that!

I've had two experiences with them, and both have been pretty bad. The first was last summer when I accidentally booked a room at their location instead of a different Courtyard. I realized the error within the hour, called them, and they refused to refund the money. It was disappointing to say the least, considering I'm a BonVoy Gold Elite member, and I stayed 62 nights in Courtyards last year. Fast forward to December 2020, and I stayed a week in this Midlothian location. The hand sanitizing stations at the lobby elevator and on my floor were empty, and over the course of the week they were never refilled. I was a little disturbed when I went downstairs one night to see if I could find some cutlery, and I found the staff taking a group smoke break in the kitchen! But the worst was that someone entered my room one day while I was out, and two items were stolen. I came back to my room to find items had been moved, two items were missing, and there was remnant of a thick, dark liquid that had gone down my sink (maybe tobacco spit?). I left messages for the manager for weeks with no response. I then contacted the corporate office, which prompted an email from this location's GM, Michell Anglemyer, assuring me no one had been in my room and saying she was sorry that I'd lost my items. The experience was more than a little insulting.
I stay at a lot of Courtyards all around the country, but I will not stay in this one again.

Over priced for what you get. 5 bucks a day for internet. Small rooms. Bed was nice. Have to go to the front desk to get towels and to. My dog didn't like it. And he's not picky. Lol.

Facility was clean and employees were friendly. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. I would definitely stay here again. The level of customer service is unmatched!

My stay was very disappointing. I was informed at check in that the pool was "closed indefinitely " . We get to our room and it was pretty stuffy, turned ac down, went got dinner came back still hot. Purchased a fan from Walmart, notified staff of ac problem. Maintenance looked at it, told me to give it another 45 minutes. Forty five minutes later we notify the front desk and we finally get moved to another room around 8:30 pm. I asked if we could leave and get a refund but was told no by staff (Zaria).Upon check out I asked to speak to a manager and was told I'd have to call back on Monday so I did. My complaint was that I dont feel that I should be charged full price for a sub par hotel with a broken ac, no pool, and rude staff. The assistant manager (Sybil) was immediately defensive and treated ne as if I wanted something for nothing. I asked for the GM (Michelle)and tried explaining my situation and she offered a $20 discount in which I didnt feel was satisfactory. Our conversation turned argumentative and when I asked for her supervisors name and number SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!
This place needs a complete management change! I will never giver Marriott my business again!

My first bad hotel review. This was by far the dirtiest hotel room I have ever seen. We left as soon as we walked in the room and saw the filth. No AC, the hotel was about 80° as soon as you walked in and smelled terrible. The manager was extremely rude, almost hit me w her shoulder as she walked past us in the hall. People were just hanging out at the desk and where we pull our cars up. Felt very unsafe.
