This hotel is absolutely spectacular. The location is beyond belief — literally steps from the cathedral and in the center of the heart of Vienna. Our room was a piece of art. Architectural magnificence with no details missed. The staff is equally remarkable. I cannot wait to stay here again.

One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Rooms are extremely nice and modern, the breakfast is great, and the staff is super helpful and polite. We had to wait several hours for our flight back, and they offered us to stay in something like a small cafeteria, which had coffee, juice, amazing cake, etc, everything that you could need to chill. Location, of course, us 10/10. Would definitely recommend:)

My daughter and I stayed two nights at the Boutique Hotel Am Stephansplatz. Since we only had two nights in Vienna, we wanted to be in the heart of it all. We upgraded to a Cathedral View and were not disappointed. Even with the crowds around the cathedral, our room was quiet. The staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were well appointed.
From check in to check out and everything in between, this hotel exceeded our expectations.

Amazing service, food, location and view. The staff was super helpful with booking of taxi and tours. Always answered any questions we had and offered help.
The location is unique, overlooking St. Stephen’s Cathedral. On Sunday, at about 7am I left my window open and heard bells and organ playing in the cathedral. It was a once in a lifetime experience, to wake up in a medieval way. But do not think that the hotel is noisy, it is actually very quiet, but if you want to experience the sound of the Cathedral, leave the window open. The dining was amazing, breakfast is buffet-style with various types of deli meat, pastries, sausages, bread, juices, jams and much more. A food highlight for me was the freshly squeezed orange juice and Viennese sausages. I really appreciate it that even though it’s a hotel breakfast, they still incorporated traditional Austrian foods so that you can experience the culture as a tourist. Many attractions are within a walking distance to the hotel. Many small streets lead to Stephanplatz, so you will never get lost in the city. (Not to mention the tall cathedral is able to be seen from many places of Vienna.) Overall, a very unique and enjoyable experience. When I will visit Vienna again, I will book at the Boutique Hotel!

I stayed here with my teenage daughter in late June. It was possibly our best hotel experience ever! In addition to the cleanliness and state of repair, which was impeccable, there was an extra level of "luxury" in the entire hotel that surprised us and made me check if I misread my bill... The situation veritably ON Stephansplatz is terrific; having breakfast looking directly onto the front of the cathedral. No problem with street noise during night. And ideal travelling with the CAT airport train and metro link (bought with the same ticket) directly up to the hotel.
The breakfast was one definitive notch up from your standard hotel breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful.
In all, I really recommend this hotel. If it's a bit pricey (not sure?) it was definitely worth the extra money. Surely there are other nice places to try out in Vienna, but this I would say is a safe bet. Thank you for our stay!
