Antico Borgo Poggitazzi

The estate Poggitazzi is located in a dominant position in the Valdarno valley, near Florence, Siena and Arezzo. It was an antique ghibelline fortification belonged to the Pazzi family until 1288; afterwards,the Libri family since 1300 restored the manor house with Italian garden,the church,the farm, the cellar,the olive mill ( cold pressed oil),the granary . Today, in the core of the estate there are the ancient Villa, with lounges,gardens for wedding –parties, meetings, workshops, the Farm with the cellar and the oil mill to produce and sell extra-virgin olive oil and Chianti Docg wines, and the Agriturismo, 100 m. far from the ancient Villa, for the accommodation of the Guests. The Agritourismo was restored in a large farmhouse in use to work all the products of the farm like tobacco, linen, silk, wheat and corn. The Agriturismo has now been lovingly renovated with rooms and apartments. In the agritourism you can enjoy a discreet yet welcoming atmosphere,with large indoor and outdoor spaces,immersed in lush landscapes with a wonderful panorama over the Arno valley. All around you find vineyards, olive groves and woods. The agritourism offers large well-equipped landscaped areas,an outdoor swimming pool, mountain bikes,barbecue areas and a ping-pong table.
