Took my soon to Austin to visit the UT Campus. Hotel was decorated nice with An Austin flair and it was only a 15 minute walk to The UT visitation center. My only complaint would be the noise. Walls are pretty thin, but consider the location. I’d stay here again.

I really like the happy hour they offer and the food we ordered (flat bread) was very fresh and tasty. It would appear they make it fresh and I house given the juiciness of the tomatoes and aroma of the basil. A welcome alternative to fighting traffic to go out or eat at Denny's next door.

Great location to the campus and museums. New and modern interior design. Very Friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast is from 6-10am. Room Key activated elevator makes you feel a little safer and have quieter sleep at night.

Good to be close to things . Stuff is very friendly price not to bad . Place clean breakfast was good. Has a swimming pool it's not to big . No hot tub could upgrade on it . Disappointed about the daily parking fee which shouldn't be charged . Where are you too park at $18 a night to park . Come on you can do better then charge guest to park . If they're driving in from anyplace they need to park somewhere. Over all it's good place to lay your head.

Overall, it was a nice stay. The beds were very comfortable, friendly staff, and the rooms were clean. The only cons: It's 18 dollars additional per day for parking. The walls were thinner than they look, which may not go well when there's noisy, partying college students in neighboring rooms....since it was near the university, and it was a weekend, it's part for the course.

My complaint would be with the staff taking care of the breakfast in the morning. They open it from 6AM to 10AM. They don't tell you that if you come after 930AM you are not going to get what was promised. The last half hour not one of the staff came out to refill or replenish any of the provided items. Most of the food and all of the milk and cream was gone. I know they may not want to waste but that should not be be the driving force behind the program. The family that arrives at 9:50AM should get the same product and service as those who arrived a 6AM.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Alec. Alec has supreme customer service skills and wonderful personality. We had a nice conversation and he talked to me about all the amenities, close attractions and restaurants. He even offered to pour me a glass of the fruit infused water near the entry which was just as good as he said it was. He's truly outstanding.
The building itself is very thoughtfully laid out with basement parking and elevators that allowed me to go from my car to in the basement to the floor of my room. It's certainly the most convenient parking setup that I have ever experienced.
Our rooms were very clean and the decor was a wonderful mix that represented all the uniqueness of the property: Texas, Austin, Urban, Modern and Historical. This hotel is a real gem and I am very impressed with the thoughtfulness in the aesthetic. Our rooms had furnished balconies which were really a nice bonus.
All customer service interactions were pleasant and attentive. I have nothing negative to say about the stay.
